Compliance Advice for FCA Change in Control Notification

We have successfully supported firms throughout this daunting process. We can to take the pressure off by doing the groundwork for you, including:

  • Reviewing the proposed structure changes at corporate or individual level to advise whether a change in control application should be submitted to the FCA;

  • Assisting your firm to produce a business plan that covers all of the required areas and supports the full change in control application;

  • Working alongside your firm to prepare, submit and manage the entire change in control application until the FCA decision is made.

Preparing any submission to the regulator can be quite daunting as there is a significant amount of information that the FCA requires. It also important to get it right first time! The FCA will make a decision on a change in control notification within 60 days, although this period may be interrupted if more information is required to enable a complete assessment of the change.
